CHARLETTA ROZZELL

 

born and raised in Queens, NY has been blessed with the wonderful talents of acting, singing, dancing and modeling. She was successfully cast as Mary in the play Nativity Now at the Harlem School of Arts in 2004. In September 2007, she played Terri Waters in Marriage Is a Ministry at St. Albans Baptist Church, along with What Ya Lookin’ 4. As a drama student at Nassau Community College, she has been cast in On Striver's Row as Tillie Petunia in January 2009 and Little Shop of Horrors as Crystal in March 2009. God took her to higher heights in which she got the opportunity to perform off-Broadway for the production, Archbishop Supreme Tartuffe running June-July 2009, and was cast as a Sasha. In August of 2009, she was cast as Vicky in the vignette entitled, Sister. In September 2009, she made her debut as Vanessa in an independent film, Pleasure for Game. In November of 2009, she was cast as Willamina in an NYU student film entitled, Reunion. In April of 2010, she choreographed an African piece and played as Jerash in Caligula Maximus, also performed off-Broadway. Her most recent work was Bomba Claudie’s Kill the Haters webisode where she played, Donna The Dominican Diva. She has also performed in BALAFROHOP as a dancer in Queensbridge park festival. Currently studying for her BA in Human Services, she will launch Mentor Model MakeUp, a youth outreach program for young girls ages 13-19, this Fall 2012. Her future endeavors also include a pilot, Su Sueno as a guidance counselor and a major role, Chelsea in Bethel Tabernacle’s The Hedge showing late October 2012.
