A native Buffalonian and recent re-pat to the east coast, Josie received her MFA in Drama from USC in Los Angeles, and went on to create an acting career in theatre, TV and film. Her theatre credits include those with L.A.’s acclaimed Theatre Banshee, The Celebration, Actors Art, West Coast Ensemble and other Los Angeles theatres, along with The Rep in Arkansas where she originated the role in Ian Cohen’s world premiere of Bertrand Priest. In 2010, Josie returned to Buffalo to play Lady Macbeth in the award winning, all female production of Macbeth in Shakespeare in Delaware Park, and later was seen at The Kavinoky in Rock-n-Roll. Josie’s extensive TV and film credits include 2 series regulars (Costello, Favor and Family), many guest-stars including WEEDS, CSI:NY, Desperate Housewives, 24, NYPD Blue, Becker, Beverly Hills 90210, her fair share of soaps, the films DareDevil with Ben Affleck, and Political Disasters with Tim DeKay (Carnivale, White Collar), and the multi festival winner, The Desperate.. Josie served as an adjunct professor in the Department of Theatre and Fine Arts at Niagara University, in Niagara Falls, NY, and has recently returned from the successful run of You Say Tomato, I Say Shut Up in Rochester, NY. Now in NYC, she is represented by Judy Boals, Inc.
