Born and raised in Washington Heights, Sean Carvajal began acting at the age of 15, when a teaching artist walked into his classroom one day and introduced him. Since then, Sean has continued to work as a teaching artist having taught playwriting and acting in high schools, juvenile detention facilities, senior centers, and hospitals with arts-in-education organization through out New York City—including The New York Theatre Workshop. As an actor, Sean has played in several original works, including Ghetto Babylon (59E59), Lissabon (LaMaMa), Holy Land (HERE Arts Center), Seven Spots on The Sun (Cincinnati Playhouse), and Stephen Adley Guirgis’s Dominica, That Fat Ugly Ho. He has also starred in HBO’s award-winning short film, CRUSH. Thank you.
